Henry trained in classical and Spanish dances, as well as in modern Cuban technique, at the National Dance School of Havana, Cuba. Classical ballet has always been fundamental to him. He joined the National Dance Company (Danza Contemporánea de Cuba) as a soloist, where his passion for ballet solidified after continuing to learn from highly inspiring teachers. Alongside his studies and his career as a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher, he has strengthened his classical ballet pedagogy, drawing inspiration from the principles of the Russian Vaganova methodology and, primarily, the Cuban school of ballet, among others. In 2024, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Classical Ballet Education at the National Ballet Academy of the Netherlands, a great opportunity to deepen and refine the Vaganova method and enrich his approach as a classical ballet educator.

With a solid foundation in ballet, Spanish dance, and modern Cuban technique, Rodríguez's class focuses on how classical technique can support us not only technically, but also in our personal development. His class is a meeting point for students to harmonize their bodies, understand structure, reconnect with their breath, focus, and, very importantly, recognize and overcome their usual limitations, thus providing them with the necessary technical and artistic support to explore other dance styles.

The practice requires students to come with an open mind, commitment, consistency, and a reflective, curious, and respectful attitude. Focused on developing precision, coordination, musicality, and a solid understanding of the body and technical elements, Rodríguez's ballet class encourages students to bring their own personality and stage presence to movement, within the framework of classical language and in service of their individual ambitions.
